Any reservation request with the company French Riviera Tourism will be subject to sending a quote and the general conditions of sale (CGV) to the customer. Payment for the service implies acceptance of the general conditions of sale below.
All documents, reservation voucher and general conditions of sale serve as a service contract between the company French Riviera Tourism and the customer whose name will appear on the reservation voucher.
Prestations :
Morning transfers to airport or train station
Early morning train station and airport transfers are between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. and a 25% surcharge will be applied.
Transfers departure from Nice, additional fees will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Airport or train station transfers
Transfers from Nice train station or airport are available to all destinations.
Transfers to the train station or airport depart from Nice, an additional fee will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Provisions
Provision for the benefit of the customer, of a vehicle with its driver and its service for a fixed rate of hours which cannot be less than 3 hours and a flat rate of kilometers which cannot exceed 150 kms.
The customer can choose their package between 3 hours, 5 hours or 10 hours.
Additional hours can be added to the basic package (only valid on the 3h and 5h package) and will be re-invoiced at the end of the service.
For availability exceeding 10 hours, please refer to the special conditions which will appear on the quote.
The arrangements are made from Nice, additional costs will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Transfers + free day on tourist place
Transport to tourist sites + free day for the client.
Two options are available: one way and return.
The one-way formula is organized as follows: The customer chooses their pick-up time when booking (between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.).
The return package is organized as follows: the customer must leave in the morning (between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.) and specify their pick-up time when booking. The meeting time for return will be no later than 6 p.m.
The meeting place for the return must automatically be located in the same city as the drop-off location. It must be announced to the driver at least 1 hour before.
The customer will have the possibility to extend their experience by requesting the addition of additional time (1 hour or 2 hours) which will be billed to them. The request for additional time must be made at least 3 hours before pick-up for the return trip.
Transfers with a free day are from Nice, additional fees will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Tourist tours
Tourist tours are car itineraries pre-defined by French Riviera Tourism with passages through essential tourist points of interest
Two options are offered: 5 hours and 10 hours.

The 10-hour formula is organized as follows: 9 a.m.-7 p.m. with a meal break of 2 hours maximum
Stops are planned in advance so that the customer can enjoy the places, take photos or buy souvenirs.
In order to respect the organization of the tour and schedules, the driver will manage stop times and ask the customer to respect the schedules so as not to compromise the tour. Any delay on a step by the client will shorten the duration of subsequent steps.
The 5-hour formula provides for at least 3 stops of 30 minutes and the 10-hour formula provides for at least 4 stops of one hour as well as a break of around 2 hours maximum for free lunch.
Tourist tours depart from Nice, additional fees will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Ride on demand
Pricing is based on a calculation taking into account the distance and duration in relation to the estimated traffic.
The rides depart from Nice, additional costs will be charged for pick-up in another city.
Prices :
The prices communicated on our site are expressed in euros and include taxes, transport by vehicle with private driver, fuel, tolls, carrier's insurance.
Any additional costs incurred during provision such as parking will be re-invoiced to the customer at the end of the service.
The VAT is 10% for all our services except the provision for which the applicable VAT is 20% in accordance with the regulations on the transport of people for a fee.
The price given is a price per vehicle and not per person. A maximum of 4 people can board the vehicle for the same service.
Regular pricing is applicable for services performed between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. An increase of 25% will be automatically applied to services which will be performed between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Reservation :
Any reservation request must be made no later than 24 hours before the date of performance of the service.
A digital quote will be sent to the customer who will have the choice to accept the service or not.
Each accepted reservation will be subject to a digital confirmation (reservation voucher) in accordance with French passenger transport regulations.
Payment :
Payment for the service must be made after acceptance of the quote by the customer.
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or American Express), by instant transfer or in cash.
For security reasons, cash payments are only accepted for reservations confirmed at least 72 hours before the reservation date. The customer must inform French Riviera when booking of their desire to pay in cash.
Rescheduling :
Certain events beyond the control of the company will give rise to rescheduling. Dates will be offered to customers without these being allowed to exceed 3 days beyond the date initially planned.
Rescheduling will be systematically offered to the customer in the following cases:
- Rescheduling for technical reasons (problem with the vehicle).
- Rescheduling for force majeure (related to natural disasters).
- Rescheduling for Météo-France vigilance system (orange and red level).
It is important to understand that the weather can be changeable and that rain, hail and wind are not part of the conditions for reimbursement of the service. It is up to the customer to research the climatic conditions of the date chosen for the reservation.
Delay :
It is important to note that any delay can cause serious problems in the organization of the driver's schedule. The customer is therefore asked to respect the schedules as much as possible when picking up at the start of the service but also when picking up for the return and during stops at the different stages.
In the event of a major delay or repetitive delays on the part of the customer on a tour, the driver reserves the right to rearrange the route in order to make up for lost time or to shorten the tour in order not to work hours additional.
In the event of a customer delay of more than 15 minutes for a single trip, in order to keep his schedule, the driver reserves the right to cancel the trip and no refund can be made by French Riviera Tourism.
Cancellation and refund :
In the event of cancellation by the customer less than 24 hours from the date of delivery of the service, no refund can be made by French Riviera Tourism.
In the event of cancellation by the customer more than 24 hours to 48 hours from the date of completion of the service, a partial refund of the service may be made with a deduction of 50% of the price.
In the event of cancellation by the customer more than 48 hours from the date of completion of the service, the customer will be refunded the entire amount paid.
In the event of cancellation by French Riviera Tourism of a service confirmed to the client for technical reasons, the company will inform the client as soon as possible. The customer will be offered other dates for the performance of this same service which he will have the choice to accept or not. If the customer decides not to accept the rescheduling of the service, this cancellation will give rise to a total refund of the sums already paid without the customer being able to claim compensation from French Riviera Tourism.
In the event of cancellation by French Riviera Tourism of a service confirmed to the client due to force majeure, the company will inform the client as soon as possible. The customer will be offered other dates for the performance of this same service which he will have the choice to accept or not. If the customer decides not to accept the rescheduling of the service, this cancellation will give rise to a total refund of the sums already paid without the customer being able to claim compensation from French Riviera Tourism.
In the event of cancellation by French Riviera Tourism following a customer delay of more than 15 minutes (valid only on single trips), no refund can be made by French Riviera Tourism.
Duration and places of performance of the service :
The duration of the service is an estimate made during the quote, this duration takes into account all external events that may occur during the performance of the service: delay during pick-up, traffic, problem with the vehicle.
The pick-up location is initially defined between French Riviera and the customer when booking.
The destination location is initially between French Riviera and the customer at the time of booking. The destination location for organized tours is the same as the pick-up location except if the customer wishes to be dropped off at another address, this request will be subject to acceptance by the driver. This modification may be subject to additional invoicing.
Problems with the vehicle during service :
In the event of a problem with the vehicle following a mechanical failure, an accident or other damage which would immobilize the vehicle, French Riviera Tourism will do what is necessary to transport its customers either to the destination via another company..
A rescheduling may be offered to the customer with the choice or not of accepting the reprogramming (see reprogramming for technical reasons).
If the customer could not be transported to their destination by another vehicle or rescheduling is not possible, the customer will be reimbursed according to the reimbursement terms.
In the event that the breakdown is slight (slight shock to the bodywork, wheel change following a puncture, etc.) and that it would allow the service to continue thereafter. French Riviera Tourism will do its best to make up for lost time by extending the service.
Vehicle :
The vehicle used for the services will be of the sedan range which can accommodate up to 4 passengers. In the event of a last-minute breakdown, if the vehicle can be replaced for the service, it will be replaced by a vehicle of the same range.
Luggages :
The vehicle can accommodate a maximum of 2 checked bags and 2 cabin bags in the trunk.
Rules on board of vehicle :
In accordance with current regulations, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
In accordance with the regulations concerning drinking establishments and alcohol consumption, it is strictly forbidden to consume alcohol on board the vehicle.
In accordance with current regulations, it is strictly forbidden to consume narcotics or other drugs in the vehicle.
It is not permitted to eat in the vehicle, only water consumption will be permitted. Please note that breaks are organized during the tours so that customers can take the opportunity to eat outside the vehicle at that time.
For safety reasons, wearing a seat belt is compulsory; each passenger must take care to fasten their seat belt when the vehicle is moving.
Animals are not accepted on board the vehicle. The only animals accepted are guide/accompanying dogs for people with visual disabilities.
Passengers are required to behave respectfully towards the driver during journeys.
Passengers are required to adopt exemplary behavior in the vehicle so as not to damage the interior of the vehicle or interfere with the driver's concentration when driving.
The driver may decide to interrupt the service at any time if he judges that the passengers are adopting behavior which does not allow the proper execution of the service. The service will then end definitively without the customer being able to request any reimbursement. If he considers that the reasons are serious enough, he may call on the police, which systematically results in a complaint being filed.
Passengers will obviously not be able to ask the driver to behave in a way that does not comply with the highway code.
Damage vehicle caused by the customer :
Any damage caused by the customer to the interior of the vehicle will be billed to the customer.
The customer is not allowed to eat meals in the vehicle to avoid cleaning costs which will amount to €50.
Vomit bags are available in the vehicle upon request. In the event that the customer does not feel well, he must inform the driver as soon as possible who will give him a vomit bag or stop on the side of the road so that the customer can get out. In the event that the customer vomits in the vehicle, the cleaning costs will amount to €200.
For material damage the costs may rise up to €500.
Responsibilities :
French Riviera Tourism cannot be held responsible for delays on journeys due to events beyond its control such as traffic jams, road closed for works, road closed by law enforcement, road closed by firefighters, vehicles blocking the street or even events linked to weather conditions, demonstrations etc... (without this list being exhaustive).
French Riviera Tourism cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from an initial delay by the customer and which does not allow the driver to complete the journey in sufficient time.
French Riviera cannot be held responsible for baggage or other personal effects forgotten by the customer in the vehicle during the services, just as French Riviera has no obligation to keep baggage and personal effects left in the vehicle during the services.
